FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
Is Kinect free?
Yes — logging, stats, tribes, Trophy Shots, the Weekly recap and the last 90 days of your history are free. Kinect Pro, an optional subscription in the iPhone app (monthly or yearly, with a 7-day free trial), adds your full history and AI sessions; every account can try 3 AI sessions free. Older entries are never deleted — Pro shows them again — and Pro bought on the iPhone works in the browser too.
Where can I download Kinect?
Kinect is a native iOS app — download it from the App Store, where it's listed as Kinect Pro.
Is there an Android version?
Not right now — Kinect is iOS-only. If you already have an account, you can also use it in a browser at getkinect.app/auth.
Can I still use Kinect from a browser?
Yes — if you already have a Kinect account, you can log in at getkinect.app/auth and keep using it from the web. If you're new, the iOS app is the place to start.
Do I need an account?
Yes — sign in with Apple, Google or e-mail. Your workouts, PRs and tribes stay with your account.
Can I use kg or lbs?
Either. Pick kg or lbs, and cm or in for body measurements, in You. That's also where you set a monthly training goal and the first day of your week.
Can I log a workout I did earlier?
Yes — change the date while logging and the workout lands on the right day in your history.
How are PRs detected?
Automatically. Kinect checks every set you log against your history, shows new personal records in the "Well done." summary and tags them in your history — you never have to report them yourself.
What do Readiness, Momentum and Iron Rank mean?
Readiness is how recovered you are, as a percentage. Momentum compares your recent training with your 4-week average. Iron Rank is your level — Recruit, Warrior, Elite, Titan — shown next to your Power Score. And "Next up" tells you which muscle group is due, based on your last 6 weeks.
How many exercises are there?
900+. Search them when you start a workout. Each one has instructions and the muscles it works, plus your own 1RM, PB and how many times you've done it. Long-form form guides live in How To.
What is a Tribe?
Your training crew. Create a Tribe, invite friends by link or QR code, and compare on the leaderboard by Days, Volume or PBs. The Live gains feed shows what everyone just hit — with fire reactions.
What does the AI do?
Two things: an AI session generated for today, and a Weekly recap of how your training went. The Weekly recap is free; AI sessions are part of Kinect Pro, and every account gets 3 to try.
